Information on using Financial Aid to help pay your student bill:
There are several types of financial aid that can help you reduce the overall cost of attending Mizzou, including Scholarships, Grants, and loans. Any of this aid that has been approved but not yet applied to the student account are considered to be “anticipated.” The balance owed after anticipated aid is factored in when calculating the total balance owed for the term and/or any payment plan installments.
If you receive a scholarship check from a source outside of Mizzou, please mail the check to:
Student Financial Aid Office
11 Jesse Hall
Columbia, MO 65211
Be sure to include your MU student number on any correspondence. Please refer to the Student Financial Aid Office to see how aid is applied and for any other Financial Aid questions you may have.
On disbursement day, your financial aid may temporarily disappear from your account while the system processes it. This does not mean you’ve lost your aid. If you don’t have any outstanding items on your To-Do list, your aid will show back up within 24 hours.
